By Jen Hopkins

Humans, both male and female, have always desired passionately to appear as young as they possibly can, by both natural and artificial means. Therefore, throughout history, humans have utilized many different substances ranging from the disgusting to the scary to fulfill this desire.

Unfortunately, most of these attempts backfired on the users, and physically harmed the users a great deal, sometimes even resulting in death. However, as the understanding of the human body and its workings advanced, more effective solutions have been discovered by scientists.

Despite scientific progress, no discovered substance can totally reverse the signs of aging on skin, so wrinkles will still appear. Modern treatments can only mask the wrinkles for a short period of time to make the product user appear younger.

The mode of operation of today's slew of Anti-wrinkle creams can roughly be divided into to classes. One class of creams strips away dead skin exposing tender more youth full flesh. The other type slightly swells the skin which does hide wrinkles.

A good portion of the market is taken up by anti-aging products that work in both ways. Prices can vary from very cheap to extremely expensive. Buyers must beware, because no science has proven that the expensive products are better than the cheaper ones.

The main problem with all of these Ant-wrinkle creams is that the wrinkles come back when you stop using the product, sometimes in a very short period . Even an inexpensive creams cost will add up considerably over a length of time.

The market may improve when more effective new products are ready to be sold to consumerd. Drug corporations worldwide are investing huge sums in a race to develop a better product, because they know that there is a huge potential for profit from consumers.

Unless humans suddenly stop growing old, people will always desire and buy products that make them look younger and healthier. In the future, perhaps scientific advances will create an anti-aging product that can actually stand the tests and battles of time. - 16492
