Travel on Glasgow Flights

You can fly on a Glasgow flight to many world destinations and arrive in Glasgow from many cities around the world. There are two airports in Glasgow, Glasgow Prestwick (PIK) and Glasgow International (GLA). It does take longer to get to Glasgow Prestwick from Glasgow center, about 30 miles, where Glasgow International is only 10 miles from the city center.

There are many domestic flights that depart from Glasgow International to most cities in the UK. Easyjet, BMI/BMI Baby, Flybe, Loganair and British Airways all fly from Glasgow International. Glasgow International is the main access point for those wishing to fly to the Scottish Highlands and Islands. Glasgow Prestwick does offer domestic flights, though not as many as from Glasgow International and you can find some great discount deals from Glasgow Prestwick.

Glasgow airport also offers many flights to Europe that depart from both the International and Prestwick airports. There are inexpensive flights available to Amsterdam, Poland and Berlin. Ryanair offers many discount fares if you are willing to depart from Glasgow Prestwick airport.

You can also fly to Ireland on Glasgow flights. Air Lingus flies direct to Dublin and Ryanair travels to a variety of destinations in Ireland. You can fly Flybe and Easyjet to Belfast and Loganair offers regular flights to Londonderry from Glasgow International.

You can travel to far destinations from Glasgow International and Glasgow also is a stop over for other long-haul flights. You can fly direct from Glasgow to Orlando, Florida, New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Toronto and Chicago. There are also many direct flights from Glasgow to Asia, Lahore and Dubai.

You can also charter a flight if you cannot find a flight to your specific destination. There are companies at Glasgow International that run charter flights to Mexico, the Caribbean and North Africa. You will be able to travel to any destination in the world as well as from any destination through Any of the Glasgow airports. - 16492
