Honest Review of PPC Coach

By Mike Wong

Pay Per Click marketing (PPC) can be very profitable, but if you don't know what you're doing, you can easily lose your shirt. There are people doing PPC out there that are literally making millions of dollars a year doing this. However, PPC can be very tricky, especially for those new to the game. If you don't closely monitor your campaigns, you'll see your budget get drained very quickly. This is where joining a service like PPC Coach really helps. PPC Coach is a monthly membership site that teaches you everything you want to know about PPC. From finding the best keywords to creating your landing pages and tracking your campaigns, PPC Coach will help you out.

For $50 a month, you'll gain access to the PPC Coach membership site. When you join, you'll start off learning the month 1 Method and each subsequent month you remain a member will give you access to a new PPC method. Each method is described and includes the affiliate merchant and specific offers to use. However, you should probably choose your own offers to prevent saturation.

Currently there are 1425 members and 52,000 posts in the forums. The forum is quite lively and everyone is very friendly and helpful. PPC-Coach and Coach v2.0 are quite active on the forums as the PPC "mentors". Other members like Harry1970 and SteveL have written great threads that include some great advice. By becoming an active member of the community, I think the forums is where you'll be receiving the most value out of your PPC Coach membership.

It's never problem getting one of your landing pages reviewed by other members, or getting someone to take a look at your ad copy. There's always someone on the forum that's ready to help you out.

If you're a visual learner, you'll want to check out the PPC Coach videos. These are located on the main page of the site. PPC Coach narrates each of them and they cover everything from keyword research, landing page creation, tool installation, and more. Each of the videos are around 20 minutes long and they are quite well done and informative.

The tools are another reason why PPC Coach is so valuable. Landing Site Generator is a php script that allows you to create landing pages for your campaigns almost automatically. All you need to do is tweak a few variables in the script and your landing page is ready to go. This is a really good way to get started with the Month 1 method.

Youll also get access to the Keyword Tracking System tool which allows you to track a several variables of your PPC campaigns including gross margin, roi and epc for each campaign, adgroup and keyword. Theres the Adwords Magic Tool, which is a web based tool that allows you to input a keyword, and it will spit out thousands of variations in under 30 seconds. Youll save a lot of time using this one. These are just a sampling of the tools accessible to you as a PPC-Coach member.

There are some things that PPC Coach could improve on. For one thing, the main site itself does not look all that appealing. Its kind of spartan and a little disorganized. A lot of the info on the main site is kind of sparse. For example, the Quick Start Guide is kind of useless. I wish it had active links to some of the great content on the forums.

Another downside I see is that there is no trial period for the service. If you dont like what PPC-Coach offers, then theres no way to get your money back. Fortunately, I think the quality of the PPC Coach service is good enough that youll probably not have to worry about this.

The PPC Coach membership is aimed more towards the novice PPC marketer. The month 1 methods aren't really new as I've seen them described before on other sites. Experienced PPC marketers will still get a lot out of the PPC Coach tools, and of course there's the great community.

Being a member of PPC Coach will not guarantee you PPC success. The information you will learn will provide the foundation and the tools will save you time. But its up to you to make the most of your membership. That means youll need to ask questions when you need help, and actually get off your butt and start creating PPC campaigns. If youve been looking to get started with PPC and are trying to figure out how to start, then PPC Coach is definitely a program you should look into. If you take advantage of all that PPC-Coach offers, youll definitely start making some money. - 16492
