As the 2009 SCCA Pro Racing SPEED World Challenge Toyo Tires season opener at Sebring approaches, WC Vision is pleased to announce three new partnerships with AutoWeek, The Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving and Debaufre Watches.
What has become a staple in many SPEED World Challenge fans mailbox, AutoWeek is the place to go for the latest automotive and motorsports news. A long-time supporter of the series, the bi-weekly publication will become the SPEED World Challenge number board sponsor for the 2009 season. Additionally, AutoWeek will present an award at each event, in each class, for the best pass of the race.
The Bob Bondurant School of Performance Driving offers everything from the most introductory courses to advanced level racing clinics, all at a 60-acre purpose-built facility in Phoenix, Ariz. The prestigious driving school has signed on for several partnerships with SPEED World Challenge in 2009. Many well-known professional drivers have taken advantage of The Bob Bondurant School of Performance Driving.
The Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving will be the presenting sponsor of the ACS Monterey Sports Car Championships at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and an associate sponsor of the ACS Long Beach Grand Prix presented by Lala Motorsports.
As part of the program, each 2009 race winner (GT and Touring Car) will receive a transferable $500 Bondurant gift certificate and three $500 gift certificates will be raffled off for fans following each driver autograph session. The Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving has also been named the Official Driving School of the 2009 SPEED World Challenge season. For the fans, a fantasy racing league will be established with a four-day Grand Prix Racing school presented to the winner.
Debaufre watches has been announced as the sponsor of the Fastest Lap Of The Race Award. Debaufre, a U.S.-based family owned Swiss watch company, produces quality Swiss timepieces and offers high-end luxury and style at a price thats within reach. Debaufre is pronounced Day-boh-fray.
To close the 2009 season, Debaufre watches will award each 2009 Drivers' Champion with a custom-designed Debaufre watch. As the official fastest lap of the race sponsor, Debaufre watches will award a standard production Swiss watch to the GT and Touring Car driver with the fastest lap of the race at each round. Debaufre has been announced as the Official Timepiece of the 2009 Speed World Challenge Racing Season.
