Bathroom vanity mirrors for an inviting room

By Leon Sebastian

Most people consider bathroom decoration as something that consists of a new set of blinds, a fish shower curtain, and maybe a new bath rug. However, there are many other things that you can do to spice up your bathroom and give it a style of your own. One of the first things you can do to add your personal touch is choose an appropriate bathroom vanity mirror for over your sink.

In fact, if you want your restroom to stand out as special like every other area in your house, you may want to choose a custom bathroom vanity to make sure that you make a statement inside your restroom as well. However, one of the hardest things is finding a vanity that holds up to your expectations. Finding a custom mirror can be a hard task if you are only looking at department stores.

You always have control over the largest piece of furniture in the bathroom. The bathroom vanity is placed in a certain place because all the other fixtures can not be moved as easily. The toilet, sink and tub are permanent in their places due the layout of the pipes. The mirror is where most people put their personal touch in their bathroom because it is an important fixture that is the most noticed by their guests.

When working with a warm theme throughout your entire bathroom, it would be best to choose a bathroom vanity that has some type of wood trim. This will coordinate with earth tones perfectly and will also give you control over your bathroom design. You can personalize it more with the variety of shades of the wood, say you picked a darker wood stain then you might choose some shade of red or green for your accent color. You may pick a dark blue with a hue of green in it which will work well with the wood also.

A bathroom vanity that is made with natural oak trimming will nicely fit into a bathroom that has natural wood trimmings as well. Of course, you do not have to use oak; simply match the trimming of your mirror with the trimming of the wood. For extra spice, you can choose a mirror that has gold tracing along the glass as well.

To help set off the warm theme along with the bathroom vanity, you might consider purchasing small wooden trim towel holders to place on either side of the mirror. Depending on the size of your wall you may decide to simply choose one longer towel holder with the same wooden theme. Red and green colors are wonderful earthy colors to contrast with the wood and make your theme more cohesive. Small candle holders that hold potpourri jars are also nice accents to place alongside the mirror.

With the personal touches the bathroom vanity and the mirror give off helps with creating the type of bathroom that will be inviting to all your guests. This makes your guests feel welcome and will want to visit you more often. Just remember to help make the bathroom theme to come together as one; you need to make sure that the stains match in the wood throughout the entire room. - 16492
