Puberty is a challenging times for the teenagers. Especially for girls this is the time that their body go through a lot of physical changes.

Girls begin to menstruate, body and facial hair starts to grow, their body going through growth spur and the skin change too. More fat tissues develop around the thighs, hips, and breast.

The psychological changes includes frequent mood swings and getting irritated easily. They will also have lower self confidence and self esteem.

Both the physical and psychological changes becoming more challenging for girls who also suffer from acne problems. During puberty there is an increased in oil secretion in the skin and that leads to an acne outbreak.

Luckily with just following a few simple steps that becomes a daily habits, these problems could be put under control.

The best method to manage acne is to prevent it from happening rather than curing it.

Proper skin care is the first step in preventing acne outbreak. Wash your face with facial cleanser. Skin care cleanser are available over the counter without prescription. Use a gentle skin care cleanser that is accommodating for all skin types.

Find the skin cleanser that contains Salicylic acid, Benzoyl Peroxide or Sulphur. It is very important for you to use only gentle cleanser. Also be gentle when cleaning your face and don't clean excessively, twice a day should be the routine.

For those who wear facial makeup, make sure to use cosmetics products that contain non-comedogenic ingredients. Products with non-comedogenic ingredients are less likely to cause acne, blackheads or blocking skin pores.

There are many cosmetic products such as makeup, lip sticks, moisturizers that are non-comedegenic. Even acne medicated makeup are available on the market today.
