Women and Boots - Women and Shoes

By Neil Somonski

Looking for specific styles at local footwear stores can be iffy. The shoes online offer the discount deals especially on the traditional sales holidays.

Many inexpensive footwear stores are upping their choice of designer shoes and support large inventories of sizes as well as styles. Many of the popular shoe and boot sizes disappear off the shelves at traditional brick and mortar stores. Discount shoe stores at online locations often carry your size and style.

When buying your new pair of shoes, look to see if the company has free shipping and specifically free return shipping. Just in case the shoe doesn't fit, you don't want your low cost purchase gobbled up in extra shipping charges.

To spot fashion trends, look at the magazine ads and what men shoes or women boots the models are wearing. Look for ladies shoes that are publilicized or worn in People or similar magazines that portray what Hollywood stars are presently wearing.

Shoes styles vary but purple colors are trendy. You'll see gold metallic heels, platinum and silver heels as well as flats and pumps that are gold. Peep toe shoes and animal prints are getting the nod.

As far as comfort is concerned, kitten heels are low and easy to walk in. They are not completely flat and really comfortable without pinching. They are great to wear with both jeans and a skirt. They come in a rainbow of different colors definitely worth snapping up a few pairs.

For women to keep their closet current, they need to balance a mix of high heels with more comfortable shoes. Higher heeled shoes have been a reason for ankle injury and falls are common. High heel overuse can result in orthopedic procedures, besides bunions and sore feet.

To be safe, heels should not be more than 1 or 2 inches high. To be stylish you need to mix and match footwear to balance your looks. Not only is it sensible, it's healthier for you and your foot. - 16492
